Actually pretty good. I didn't hate the original ending as much as some, but this was certainly an improvement. Makes you wonder why it wasn't in the game at launch.

Not watching since I actually never finished the game after so many months of collecting and farming infusions, plus trophy hunting visionaries.

Surprised Arkane even added anything extra to the game at all -_-

Aside from this, they added a new weapon, a new slab, and some new enemy types. Kinda meh tbh, but the ending is fun.

Color and golden versions for every gun, and all purple trinkets and power upgrades. Earning them is a grind because it becomes more difficult on the 2 days before a loop restarts and that's when the game's RNG really kicks in. Add PvP to that mix with expert Julianna players and it's a bastard to beat each time.

And besides that, I just enjoy fucking around with everything the game offers you even if the sandbox play isn't as deep as Prey's. Very Goldeneye-esque style of speedrunning and gun play.

Is the game worth a go for the story/narrative?

Did they patch this stuff into the ps5 version or is it just available on Xbox?

I think the original vagueness is better, fit more with the choice you have to make.

Eh, it's rather basic. They don't really use the looping ability to its full effect from a story perspective. You only really get to deeply explore the MC and the antagonist in any real capacity, and the antagonist runs out of dialogue rather quickly. It's not a bad game, but I wouldn't recommend it at full price. If you can get it cheap/free on a subscription service, it would be worth a run-through.

Not at $60, no. I think it's going on Gamepass, so I'd play it there or if it ever goes on sale for like $20.

I would disagree with this though. I put 32 hours into it and it was only near the end of that that Julianna ran out of idle conversations.

I fucking hate this game. It is basically "what if you could control a crazy loop"

yea if you find it for like $30. i bought it when i got my ps5 last year for black friday. think it was $30. it's a fun playthrough but early on is kinda annoying when you die and lose all your progress. but you keep getting better and game is only like 30 hours long.

ending is definitely an improvement. is it a free update or a paid dlc? cause screw paying for anything in this game lol. especially after i beat it a year ago.
