Firefox started blocking trackers recently. I'm not sure how well it works though. Also, private/incognito mode.

Download one from their website. There are lots of them. Some of the antivirus companies even bundle one with their program. Most VPN's require a subscription though. So it's not free.

If your issue is just the ads, then you can get a free ad-blocker for that.

Just use Tor Browser, otherwise a VPN will do but make sure to configure your browser properly. Tor Browser comes pre-configured.

Personally I use whitelist (default-deny) approach on my local DNS/firewall. Couple that with a hardened browser and presto... For comparison, using adblocker (blocklist/default-allow) stopped ~50% of my connection attempts. Using whitelist stopped >90%

It's a major pain to set up though and theoritically it also increases my fingerprint
