ie: the extra waifus, more farm houses, events with Friends of Mineral Town npcs, etc. Or is it just a straight Wonderful Life remake?

This is important. I loved Harvest Moon DS, even though it was buggy as fuck >_> Flora best girl

I don't think a movie from the 1940s would have features from a Harvest Moon DS game.

From what I've seen, it looks like a 1:1 remake with better graphics.

I hope it's not the case because the gameplay really is quite dated.

It probably will be since Friends of Mineral Town remake was pretty 1:1 except for the 2 extra NPCs

Man, I like DS >_> What a shame

Nah, the game would be too much work if people had to think about all those other things

I'm hoping for some bigger company to take from Stardew Valley and make a version with great graphics and voice acting.

Even when playing a wonderful life on the gamecube, I felt there were too few villagers and the farm was too small.

So you can't make beer in this one? I'll stick to Stardew Valley

Story of Seasons didn't happen until 3DS. There was a bunch of DS games before that too

I'm still conflicted on Harvest Moon vs Story of Seasons dispute.

According to the marvelous website it's suppose to add more too it since the original didn't have a whole hell of a lot. Hell there wasn't any music outside of your farm. Check it out for yourself mate

That's what I'm really hoping.
The beach didn't get enough use, also the area where the three harvest midgets lived was nice and ultimately wasted on them.
It'd be cool if more came of the dig site minigame.
Oh and of course the permanently locked black shed on the farm. I still want to know. They could have some fun and make it something crazy like a teleporter or a mirror world.

IIRC more Waifus and Husbandos is a thing also we know same sex marriage is in.

Natsume used to localise them (badly) and localised them as Harvest Moon, eventually Marvellous told them to fuck on and started localising them themselves but Natsume have the rights to the name Harvest Moon so they went off to make there own awful knock off games with that title while Marvellous used the title Story of Seasons going forward.

Read the topic title. Harvest Moon DS was before the change and many of us grew up with it being Harvest Moon @Ricemills
