I know it's possible to do it to very strong dogs (pitbull, Rottweilers), but can the same be done to a puma? Felines have stronger and more versatile front legs, as well as paws with sharp claws and are in general more flexible and have more dexterity.

Scenario would be puma holding on to prey which allows you to get into a choke hold position, until it passes out. Could you do it?

I dont see why not. It being a much more flexible feline would probably mean it would slice you up well before it passes out though.

Without getting fucked up in the process seem like slim odds

guess it depends how old the mountain lion is. could probably do a cub or something

Oh absolutely but as long as you don't get clawed on eyes or neck you should be fine.

Wasn't their a story of a hiker who had to do that after he got attacked?

Is possible to lift up a mountain lion for the AA?

A guy did that to a young mountain lion that attacked him a few years back. He got scratched up pretty good though.

In general they won't really attack a full grown man though. They mostly go after women or kids. Most of them get away because they're ambush predators. Once something starts fighting back significantly, they run off.

Depends where it clips you, arteries are strategically placed and longitudinal slashes to veins would be very bad luck.

Im just gonna say I wouldnt recommend it.

Lol at people thinking 1v1 you have any chance against a lion of any sorts. They literally have knives for claws, and their bite is closer to an alligators than a big dogs. They will shred you open from any point, most likely your gut and wait for you to bleed out and get weak then they will eat you alive

You cant go straight for the choke hold. You need to get the cat in the corner turnbuckle and hit a few Flair-chops.

Theres plenty of dog breeds that have bites stronger than cougars.
