We have the same manager, but he's the lead of the scrum team. My manager gets feedback from him(and other team members) for reviews and such. I imagine his feedback carries the most weight as lead, but he doesn't directly affect things like raises or promotions. Didn't feel gross either, and whatever is happening in his marriage that lead him to me isn't really on me is it.
