Recently decided to play Sonic Adventure again for the first time in a long time and I still really enjoyed it. Some of it was janky for sure, but for the most part I had a lot of fun playing it again.

Compared to when I replayed Sonic Heroes earlier this year and had a less than enjoyable time with that one

yeah i started playing Jak & Daxter recently and its still fun as fuck

naughty dog doesnt miss except for Jak II, that game fucking blows

With better camera control and a few glitches fixed, Sonic Adventure would still hold up perfectly.

Its a bit awkward (especially the cut scene animations) but damn is it fun and it has so much heart put into it.

its also so massive and there are like 5-6 different games in one (seeing it from 5+ points of view)

I must have played through it 15+ times over the Dreamcast and GameCube (Adventure DX) but havent played it in about 8 years or so.

the controls arent even so bad imo, but maybe thats because Ive just memorized everything over the years

anything after SA 1 and 2 dont even come close to those games.

have you played Adventure 2 recently? Its very fun, although it holds your hand a little more than the first game, and it pretty much eliminates the open world aspect

but in return it offers a bunch of new things as well (including jigglin boobs Rogue :D )

I nostalgia'd around my late 20s. By 40 I'm just edging out of movies minus my favorites. Maybe it'll all come back and be interesting again. I started liking westerns too. Someone should probably just put me out to pasture soon. I might start watching black and white TV programs soon.

F***in love Sonic Adventure 2. Im still extremely proud of myself for 100%-ing back in the day. I did play it somewhat recently and I just cant believe that I had the patience back then to 100% it

I lost a large part of my library over a decade ago and though I have some eshop and old copies I got through the secondary market, I haven't had much time to just sit and even play a game recently.

It was Sonic Heroes for me. I never played most of them though. I rented that one and loved it so I bought it. I was surprised years later like with 2006 that they could make such shit when they've already made something better. It's like... you had the fucking script.

Happened to me when I moved in with my last ex back on 2011. I give a loy of shit away thinking I was "finally an adult"

Currently replaying RF4 for the 3rd time... I like it

Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 still hold up

Jak II was overrated as hell when it came out. Then Jak III came out and everyone was like "too much like the others, 3/5"

I hear ya...recently I played Donkey Kong Country 2 again. So lovely.

Only two negative things I can say about DKC2 are that it cost money to save your game, and the overworld could have used more than just one musical track (besides the bonus world).

adventure 2 battle is my favorite sonic game.
