Usually I feel really bad stress about SOMETHING. Work, relationship, mental illness.

But rn I feel like I'm just chilling. I have temporary anxiety to see my parents in a week and a half at my brother's wedding.

It feels weird to be like... Content. When I can get back in my house and my roommate is out of my life I can only imagine how I'll be feeling.

I'm all good, tired from work, but I'm real happy.
I should call up my friend and potentially get an RPG going, I miss in-person games and also cooking for people.

I've been cooking a lot more lately making breakfast and dinner for me and my boyfriend. It feels great. What kind of RPG?

i feel like Ive been going through it since i was like 13.

But yeah, its definitely worse right now.

i miss the companionship of a relationship so much. i have very unhealthy codependency issues and am absolutely horrified by the thought that i will never find another partner again and be alone for the rest of my life.

Yeah I feel you. I went through it from 13 to around 31. Sometimes it takes A LONG TIME to go through it.

Have you thought about therapy at all? They can help teach you to learn to regulate your emotions in a healthy way. That's what I had to learn at least. Therapy is pretty much what changed my life. I'm not perfect and still have a lot of issues but at least now I know how to communicate and work through them.

Just one hour ago, one of my supervisors had sighed before calling my name to get me to give her a progress report of what I'd done for the day. Now I worry that the rest of them feel the same way, because they had all agreed in unison to drop the virtual meeting early.

In real life do you act the same way you act here?

i know i may have said some bad things about her here as some sort of defense mechanism but shes a really smart, sweet, GOOD person that just has some difficulty expressing how she feels. i dont really blame her for falling out of love with me if im being entirely honest, i was so distant and weird the last few months of our relationship. she misses me too but im afraid to push on it and not get the results i want.

I am rarely ever talkative in real life. If you mean that I have a tendency to point out the obvious overmuch, write in great length about issues that concern me, begin nearly every one of my non-serious replies with "You mean..." followed by a comparison to an object completely unrelated to the topic at hand, and speak in a voice that is rarely ever colloquial, then I do none of these things, save for the last. I rarely ever speak more than one or two sentences when broached with an attempt at a conversation. I sometimes show an inappropriate amount of disregard towards others whenever they speak; it is rarely ever intentional, though. Awkward silences almost punctuate every attempt at a conversation anyone has ever tried to have with me. I never look people in the eye when they speak. I never greet people whenever I pass them. And I'm almost always day-dreaming, so I tend to not pay attention to my surroundings very closely, or to people when they speak. My eyes are usually focused away from other people's eyes whenever I am in public. I would blame no one for disliking me, honestly.

Yeah, that's rough, man. Sorry you feel uncomfortable at work. That sucks.

Not especially but it could be worse.

I never have been and likely never will be. It is just the hand my brain dealt me. But a lot of things are going well at least I'm not making choices that bring me closer to death.

Personal life yes, work life no.

Mum's in the hospital and the police are refusing to charge the man who put her there; he has fraudulently said he is the landlord but the police have decided they will ignore his harrassment, threats, and assaults until the matter is referred to them by the Landlord Tenant Board, as per provincial legislation. The Premier broke the LTB and it takes eight months to just get a file number.

Stressed and angry does not begin to describe the rage I feel right now; they all lucky I don't have superpowers.

I'm doing pretty great. Wonderful relationship, lots of concerts, and starting a new job at Cornell that pays a bunch more

i accepted a long time ago that happiness comes only in moments for me, and is never something that I can sustain.

my broken ankle is making things more tedious and my job is just making things more stressful right now

on the bright side Im mostly over the last girl I was into, which is good because she would have been very bad for me and I shouldnt have been into her in the first place

I just rlly want to get stoned af rn but its highly illegal and mostly unavailable where I live

There's a lot I'd love to change, with only some of it at arm's length. I try not to worry, but recent times have proven that even my current job, the best job I've had, is susceptible to notably bad decisions from employers that cost morale, workers, etc.

happy with job, happy with partner, happy with family, happy with friends, happy with hobbies, happy with car, happy with home. no illnesses mental or otherwise, anxieties or worries

Life has pretty much sucked since college for me. Financially things have been okay but I find work to be completely empty. Socially, things have been on a steady decline. I haven't felt like I've had a meaningful relationship with someone (even just platonically, let alone romantically) in ages

Yes this is what I'm working toward. Once my boyfriend and I move back into my house I just can't even imagine what my mental state will be. I've never experienced life without turmoil. I'm kind of feeling afraid.

I am doing pretty good right now. I passed some hurdles at work and now my job is easier. I dont mind it. Good thing is i am getting better at leaving work at work and enjoying myself at home. So i can separate the two. But becoming the GM of a small store has worked wonders. Dont have to listen to other peoples bullshit and i have far less work, and stress to deal with

There are a couple of things ahead of me that Im eager to get done (starting school, improving my physical health and such) but generally Im content. Im married and live relatively comfortably in a nice apartment. I got my cat and my video games and trinkets. Not much else a lady could ask for.

I have never ignored or blocked anyone

Things are pretty good right now but I always find a way to not be content. I'm the kinda person that's never satisfied so even after I achieve something I've been working on, I find some other thing to stress myself endlessly over. Just got a decent raise at my job and now I'm just like "still not enough need to be making at least 100k so I can really enjoy life and support my family without worry."

But I've learned a lot at my position and I'm gonna start looking at other jobs to see if I can get a big salary increase elsewhere. I've always heard changing jobs somewhat frequently is the best way to make more money

But between work and having a two year old, I get very little free time so that kinda sucks too. It takes me forever to finish games or shows anymore

Idk how 100k is enough for a family anymore. I make almost that much as a single person and I don't live extravagantly and I still feel like I don't have enough.

Eh babies aren't as expensive as a lot of people think. I think kids get more and more expensive as they get older though. Helps that my wife works too. She makes less than me but between the two of us we're over 100k. We live semi comfortably but yeah cost of living nowadays is outrageous.

Gotta say I'm jealous of some of my friends mortgages though. They were lucky enough to buy a house before it became a rich persons game. We were set to buy basically right before the market exploded now we're stuck waiting and renting paying 1700 a month because rent is outrageous too. 250 to 275k anywhere remotely near the city I live basically only gets you a barely liveable fucking shack

Yeah I was able to buy a house in January 2020 before the prices went absolutely crazy. I'm very grateful for that. I paid $295k and my house is worth $500k rn it's insane.

The cost of housing depresses me. I honestly think I'd be happier working at an "unskilled" job if the pay didn't matter, but with the reality of the pay, I wouldn't be able to afford living here. Instead I work an office job and I make more than enough to live off of but I've reached the point where I guess I just want to make as much as possible in hopes that I can do like a semi-retirement/part-time "working sabbatical"
