And that is with a $3 discount. Jfc, fuck gas prices, bring ammo costs down. Feeling pretty infringed upon.

Good, the prices on rounds should have a few more decimals and taxed @ 110 percent.

9 mm is only $0.35 per round if you buy in bulk.

I reload my own 45-70, it's the only economical choice. Don't shoot very much of it anyway.

Guess if one can afford a 45-70 then they can afford the cartridges.

Well that is just toxic.

Yeah, the BMG was cheaper to shoot a decade ago.

I should really look into doing this again. Haven't reloaded cartridges since high school.

Not about not being able to afford it, but it deters you from practicing, which deteriorates your skills which can increase chances of mistakes/accidents.

#6 thanks for that, I forgot who had done that bit.

Anyways my .7mm 240 rounds are $2.50 per round. I haven't done target shooting in years though, only use them when I have too. That said it's the cheaper, mass produced rounds that hurt society the most. Tax them like my beer and smoke.

Yeah, but how often do you shoot .45-70? I mean, the shoulder can only withstand so much punishment.

I usually break it out a few weeks before bear and moose season and I'll go to the range or rock pit a couple times a week, burn through a couple boxes until I'm done hunting. You're right though, these +p 420s pack a fucking punch.

All the ammo I have costs 2-3x more than what I paid for my stash just about 4-5 years ago.

Yeah, its nuts. I rarely shoot my M1895 because of this. But I do shoot my 336 quite often.

Yeah. I always wanted one when I was young, so it became the first shotgun I bought. At the time I didn't realize how difficult the ammo is to get though. Story of my life, I keep buying firearms chambered in more obscure, hard to find rounds.

.410 shells have been impossible to find for the third straight year now.

The places around here don't even sell them anymore. They are giving away a box or two whenever you buy a .410. It is bad. Luckily I managed to get 10 cases off a co-worker who doesn't shoot his anymore.

Yeah, they wanted unbelievable prices last time I checked. Im literally trying to shoot some paper targets, I dont want to spend $100 This only hurts the rule abiding owners, too. Its not a prevention of any sort of mass shooting.

Though I should add that Im not using that round. Prices seem to be up across the board, though.

Which is why I reload mine. And my 7.5x55 Swiss, and my .455 Webley.
