How the fuck are they able to make decent to amazing movies all the time? How are they able to have such cohesion between each movie and each project? You would think after some time there would be creative differences between higher ups and the movie makers, but nope, they seem to always maintain consistency and everyone seems to work well together. They're always able to blend the comics and their own ideas without jeopardizing quality. All of their actors and movie makers have no controversies, unlike a certain studio coughwarnercough. They just hit out of the park every time making blockbuster after blockbuster. That's not an easy feat by any imagination. It's just remarkable how they've been able to keep this up. Absolutely remarkable. Fox could never get it together. Warnerbros don't know what the hell they're doing. Then there's Marvel Studios...pretty much perfect. It boggles my mind. I hope they just keep going for another 10-20 years. Greatest movie studio of all time.

The MCU has basically completely replaced the "generic action movie blockbuster" that we used to get more of instead of Marvel Movies. And deservingly tbf.

Every MCU movie is pretty much standalone, with nothing beyond maybe a hint or two of a previous movie or an Easter egg that the audience won't get until they get home and look up, or a reference to another MCU property.

Add in all the movies are decent at worst, and its easy to see why its still going so strong.

As much as I love Marvel, I got off the ride when Endgame was over. The rest doesn't interest me.

It's been wobbly, quality wise, post Endgame, but as a whole it's still strong. They need to really start pushing the next big story line, though. They've kinda been meandering with it.

i think it's because of how closely marvel is working with the movie creators. they're following comic arcs that have been established, picked apart, analyzed, and everything, many years ago. they're not afraid of taking stories from their comics and weaving them all together.

i don't think DC has the same stranglehold over anything. there's no one saying "hey this comic arc went this way so it should lead to this." each piece seems like a separate entity with everyone trying to make their own vision of something and it becomes disjointed. same problem going on with star wars right now.

I think its because missteps arent ignored or erased. The hulk movie has now built into many projects. Thor dark world became a part of avengers endgame.

Other franchises would hit restart after a lower received outing, mcu keeps moving along. Also playing with less known characters helps. Theres limits to how much you can deviate spiderman and batman. Guardians, shang chi can be messes around with. Also if one entry disappoints you, theres probably something better for your tastes coming up soon

o 100%, hulk is one of the few characters to get mangled up by the mcu, Im just saying all 30+ outings at least feel or will feel like they are in the universe

Also success comes from it accepting its comic book status. No forcing everyone away from goofy colorful outfits. Very few stories on beating up street thugs in nyc/chicago. Its embraced the cosmic and fantasy of the comics which no one else would touch
