And I thought to myself, "How are these little bastards subsisting out here when I know damn well there aren't enough wild animals for all of them. Mainly because it's an empty preserve and fenced in. So I looked it up. I'll be damned. I guess they mostly don't suck our blood. They use their tongues to slurp up goodies from plants and trees.
