As a zoomer, I can say the 80s game that holds up the best is Mike Tyson's Punch Out. That game is literally as playable and fun today as it was then.

For the SNES, Super Metroid has barely aged a day.

I like collecting headphones and iems. My fave game of all time is DMC 3 SE on PC w/ style switch mod. IMO it the best button masher on earth

After burner 2 arcade looks and feels really good tho, and that came out in 87. Course its simplistic by today's standards, but sometimes that's all you need

Game aged awfully.

Honestly, I really can't go back to most NES games, even the Nintendo classics. Maybe it's because I grew up on the SNES, and those games were more complex and polished with QoL improvements.
