Bluey (7 June 1910 14 November 1939) was a female Australian cattle dog owned by Les and Esma Hall of Rochester, Victoria, Australia. According to Guinness World Records, Bluey lived 29 years, 5 months, and is the oldest dog ever verified. Bluey was obtained as a puppy in 1910 and worked among cattle and sheep for nearly 20 years. The oldest tarantula was 43. The worlds oldest known spider has died after a record-breaking lifespan of 43 years, according to researchers in Australia. If you really want to be amazed, look up the records for parrots. For cockatiels - the tiny ones with the orange cheeks - the confirmed record is 36. For larger parrots, it's 89 (a moluccan cockatoo, iirc).
