is the lack of unique characters. I think the acting, story, screenplay, music, etc are all very good. But all the characters' personalities are just kinda...bland. One of the things that made GoT great (at least for most of the show) was the unique personalities to add some spice...Tyrion, Bronn, Lady Olenna, The Hound, etc. Plus the villains (Joffrey, Ramsey, Walder Frey) were some of the most despicable characters in television. No one in House of the Dragon even comes close to that. Granted, it's still very early in the show and I'm sure plenty more characters will be introduced. But to me that's the one thing this show needs in order to go from very good to great.

I dont know. I kinda like the king's brother. He is growing on me. I kinda want him to win at whatever he is planning

Theres definitely a lot less characters

I really like the king and the guy from doctor who and the kings uncle though. And the fat guy who I think is supposed to play the part the bald eunuch played

Have you read fire and blood?

its not on the level of ASOIAF obviously, but youll undoubtably see some interesting characters come up. And depending on how far the show goes if it stops at the dance of dragon or goes on to show some blackfyre rebellions you might get to see one of the most interesting characters in the franchise bloodraven.
