I recently watched an hour-plus youtube vid on their rise and fall. Honestly the most interesting thing I got out of it was that 'Rooster Teeth' was a euphemism for cock bite.

even had to miss a sick fucken concert that I had tickets for (Sleep with The Skull) so that we could go see their stupid movie in theaters for some one-night only event

my impression of their content is, it was bad

Red vs Blue was pretty funny back in the day. Didn't really follow them beyond that. Although I did like that Monty Oum (RIP) joined them, but I never got into RWBY.

I like RvB and RWBY but havent watched any of their other stuff

i used to check out their podcast every now and then. i fell off after burnie left and found other podcasts that are more up my alley. decent podcast from what i remember.

I watched RWBY up through s4. It had some potential, and if you're invested in the show, s3 hits hard (it's basically like if the major plot points of Harry Potter from the climax of book 4 up through the beginning of book 7 were hypercondensed). Hell, it was such a hard hit that they even released a spin-off chibi series 'where everything is fine,' i.e. the school hadn't been destroyed and they hadn't killed or dismembered any of the main characters yet.

But after that point, well...it was like the writers had jammed their foot down hard on the gas pedal of a new Ferrari and afterwards were so shook that they drove it 5 mph the rest of the way home. If the latter half of s3 was the aforementioned HP analogy, then the entirety of s4 was Harry and Hermione farting around in the woods. S3 would have been a great set-up to a final season, but when that clearly wasn't the case, I lost interest; apparently the show has kept limping on for several seasons after that, and I haven't heard much in the way of high praise for it.

This. Plus I still want to check out the new RWBY anime but I'm waiting for the (still delayed) English dub for it.

I used to follow them pretty heavily back then, after RvB had already taken off but before any of their other projects did. I liked the Achievement Hunter crew as they seemed to get along and we're generally funny (Ray was my favorite) and even enjoyed when they stared the Let's Play channel. The content got stale though especially since it was just endless Minecraft and GTA videos plus it started to seem like they were getting bored of making the content as well. I watched Rwby S1 but couldn't get into the sequel seasons especially after Monty died.

Overall the fandom for RT was weird though cause they started to form a parasocial relationship with a lot of the people which eventually led to the whole incident with Gavin and Meg being threatened. Not sure how their content is like today although I've heard of several unsavory things with the production for Rwby. I can't say I'll go back but I enjoyed what they did put out when I was still watching them.

They have some decent podcasts, but much of their video content is kinda meh nowadays, particularly since the Ryan Haywood stuff.

don't watch their videos anymore (though i haven't gotten myself to actually unsubscribe on youtube yet)
but i must say, they are killing it on the podcast scene

I did enjoy RvB, but overall, I preferred Funhaus.

Funhaus used to be really dope back when Bruce and Adam were still on the team, but controversies and yadda yadda yadda, anyways, the talent they have now is still really good but it's missing the old chemistry that really made it stand out.
