One of the reasons he quit being a cop was he was tore up with guilt for shooting a guy who ended up not having a gun. Thing was he was justified. Dude had a what looked like a assault rifle. Would not drop it when order to and he turned towards him like he about to fire. Turned out to be a airsoft rifle or something. But he said he couldn't get over it. Figured the guy was intoxicated on something. Cause all he was doing was holding this rifle and staring at a house in the middle of the night. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" Main pro imo is most people who have criminal intentions ain't gonna advertise the fact they have a gun till its time to do what they are gonna do. Cons I feel it's easier to either disarm a open carry person or at least them be among the first targets to eliminate a threat. Another pro is it's usually easier to draw your weapon from open carry.
