A federal judge has for the second time rejected Sen. Lindsey Grahams effort to block a grand jury subpoena issued by the Atlanta-area district attorney investigating former President Donald Trump and his allies effort to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.

In a 23-page order, U.S. District Court Judge Leigh Martin May ruled that the South Carolina Republicans claim to be immune from such questioning thanks to the protections of the so-called speech or debate clause of the Constitution is not as sweeping as Graham claimed it to be.

The ruling sends the matter back to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, which had asked May to probe deeper into questions about the scope of the grand jury subpoena for Grahams testimony. May had already ruled against Grahams effort to throw out the subpoena entirely, but the appeals court asked her to consider whether a middle-ground partially quashing the subpoena was an option.

The 11th circuit court of appeals already ruled against Lindsey Graham recently, so hopefully their next ruling will be the end of this circus.

Remember when they subpoenaed Hillary Clinton 4 times and she refused to testify 4 times and did everything she could to avoid testifying?

Lindsay Graham is screwed because it's commonly believed that Trump has dirt on him (which explains his complete 180 on Trump and his frankly irrational defenses of him). So he can't let something like this proceed because it'll make Trump look bad, and Graham can't afford Trump's wrath.

No nobody has any fucking dirt on him. He just saw Trump was super popular among his constituents and that's all. There's no kompromat, there's no black mail, he's just a sordid asshole.

He keeps dirt on everyone in power, specifically so he can blackmail them. Hell, they think that document about Macron involved details regarding an affair.

Reminder that he was literally impeached for trying to extort the president of Ukraine for intel on Biden. This sort of shady shit is what he does - he gets dirt on people and then manipulates them into whatever he wants.
