I think you're confused. The law caps it at 10%. The rent increase was coming regardless. Because that law is in effect it can only be a maximum of 10%. You should be thankful for the law. Other states have people increasing rent by 1000s It also only applies to certain places built before 2007 and not already rent controlled ... Copied to Clipboard!
