My God is this game addictive, and also the perfect "watch something else while playing" game I've been looking for since beating Rogue Legacy 2.

Probably have a third of the squads unlocked, can only consistently beat two islands with half of those third. I actually got close to beating the final(?) mission on my first try but that was only a two island clear and I don't think I'll try it again until I clear all 4 (still haven't beaten third island).

Definitely not looking for tips to get over the roadblock of the ice Island but...

Cant say I have super specific tips for any given island, since which Vek will appear at each island are randomized. The one thing I would say is that you can see what the boss Vek will be before you select the island. The ice island has a unique one (the robot) which you should avoid choosing as your first boss because it will be likely impossible to defeat without damage boosts from reactor upgrades.

Pay attention to ice tiles, if you damage them twice they turn into water which you can use for easy kills. If you dont have non-damaging means of moving enemies, avoid the missions with the defend the robots objectives.

Since youre early you may not know this yetif you complete every objective on every battle on an island, you will receive a bonus reward after finishing the island. For this reason I would say that completing objectives should generally take priority over avoiding grid damage. Sometimes this may mean avoiding a map with an objective you dont think you can clear (often the train mission is this for me)
