I just learned that this game exists and its a bit of a spiritual successor to Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross. But its also a free-to-play mobile game. It seems to have high reviews anyone around here ever play it and care to share your thoughts? Is it worth getting? Since its free, what are the payment traps within the game structure?

There are paid for only banners like 90% of other gachas, but all content is permanent, lot of free gems, lot of free stuff given away, etc.

Free characters in this game from collabs etc. are very strong, you don't need paid for characters to beat anything really, maybe a few superbosses that are optional content.

The best paid for banners are the ones that let you choose which character you want which are star dream encounters. There's also a monthly sub if you want it that gives a lot of content, the first month is free if you want to test it out.
