Probably the biggest sporting event in the US today.

I am still waking up, but I will rally to be there.
There are a ton of great races on the card...a ton.

But The Travers is by far one of the best races of the season, nationally.
~And yes better than The Kentucky Derby.

I put my money on the bob tail nag.

I'll post the DRF for the race in a bit.

I have some accident bet bet for the big race, but I'm rolling with them.

I might bet the hunch bet for #3 in The Travers...but I won't pick a real bet until the horses are in the paddock

This was my grandfather's favorite time of the year. He loved going to the races at Saratoga and living the life of a high roller even if just for a few days.

I do.
But I took a dive on the way home.
I cut my face, but a friendly local gave me a ride home.

It's all part of the fun, but I got a gash out of it. V_V
~It's been a long few years. Trying to find me separate peace has been heralding.

I have the next few days off, so I should be fine.

Edit: The fact that he won The Jim Dandy is one of the reasons I picked him.
That and The Whitney are great lead-up races to The Travers.

I actually played around The Travers Canoe as a kid.

No I've never been. Even when I lived in Albany for a couple years I didn't go there. Would love to change that someday, but not just to go to the races.

No, you go to have fun, not to make money.
It's a good time especially after living in winter for about eight months.
You should go sometime. It's like a carnival. And the woman are dressed to the nines!!
