Normally, the person will at most have a neutral response, but under the drunken stupor they have this weird misunderstanding of lots of content and react violently sometimes. Such a mood killer. Especially in group text.

It's odd, I was always just a tired, happy, and just a bit silly drunk. Mean and temperamental drunks I just try to ignore. They have the sad drunk, the depressed drunk, the warpath drunk. I'm glad I'm just the same kinda drunk. That way I don't have to do the awkward text apology or obvious subject change in the morning in hopes they forget. It's odd. You'd think after 40 years, the person would know that shit doesn't work anymore.

How many awkward morning apologies do you go through until it becomes a teaching moment?

Edit: A safe bet is sending something funny about drunk people or their personal choice in alcohol like wine. That's a safe bet. If you relate to their drug, they're usually gonna laugh.
