they're a band, while not huge, they have a dedicated fanbase and tour a lot and all that. you probably know Boss of Me being the Malcolm in the Middle theme song. anyway, there's a big & tall men's clothing store called They Might Need Gi-pants. a bit of a stretch, but they did it.

one thing Saints Row games always do well is put weird little details and objects around in the game world for players to take a second look at.

Different game, but I thought the reference to Trinket the Bear from Critical Role was super out of place in Gat Out of Hell. I mean, I get that half the cast did voices for Saint's Row, and Liam O'brien did 4-5 characters in Gat Out of Hell, but the target audiences seem different between supernatural gangland simulator and 'voice actors doing a Let's Play of D&D tabletop'.

i might be wrong, but i believe that reference was before the show, so technically, that was more for themselves than for the audience

Looking at the dates, it seems Gat Out of Hell did release months before Critical Role's first episode aired. But that means the cast wanted Laura to kill off her bear before they were even a 'cast'. It also means Travis narrated a death for Trinket...
