So, I owe like $1800 for my undergrad and $10K for my one semester of grad school. I did get the Pell Grant.

You do realize a reason the inflation is so high is because people are not able to spend money because of low wages from corporations, right?

Basic supply and demand.

This sucks. People in debt just need to learn how to manage their money and spending better.

Dunno but I know a lot of people don't even pay for grad school at all. Once you hit that level it's less student and more like a job.

I mean, I'd have to look into it, but I assume if your interest paid is less than interest owed, as long as you make your required payment, the rest would be covered, and interest won't be added.

Part of your payment will still go towards interest, but the remaining interest you'd otherwise have to pay based on the interest rates of the loan would not be added. Is that not correct in this instance?

If you miss a payment you get charged interest. As long as you keep making your payments it's no interest.

How exactly would a piddly 10,000 forgiveness be benefiting the wealthy elites

Went back to school in 2016 after losing my job, had $19,500 in loan, didn't remember if I had a Pell Grant. Spent a hour trying to get into studentaid.gov, and yup Pell grant, guess I have no student loans anymore, thanks Biden.
