In this case, there's a genuine chance that it's just not very good. Ignoring both extremes, ratings seem to gravitate to the bottom.

the written reviews on imdb and on rotten tomatoes both state that it is very good. reviews are from pre and post george floyd.

i suspect it is because they may have changed the name. it was originally called "Black". I am not sure when the name was changed. Moreover, watching the trailer is a clear indication that it is not a 1/10 movie. Looking at the distribution of votes, that is virtually impossible to happen naturally. it was review bombed.

Yeah. The 1's were bombed. I tend to ignore the 1's and 10's and see where the rest of the votes fall.
