The reality is, we won't hear a damn thing.

That recording is altered so much but I find it very telling that they decided to stop altering it when they got to the point that it sounded scary and most importantly, MARKETABLE, like something that could make a news headline.

What if you're in a planet that has a atmosphere...close enough to black hole? Wouldn't you be able to hear the black hole?

The sun is so damn loud that if sound waves could travel through a vacuum, noise from the sun would clock in at 110 decibels all the way over here on Earth.

No unless the nebula encompasses the planet as well. Not impossible but you'd be living instead the pillars of creation or something similar.

Light is faster than sound so how can they capture sound from a void where light can't even escape from? Just saying.

They're not capturing stuff from beyond the horizon. The black hole still has a gravitational effect that goes much farther than the horizon and that's what is making the sound.
