I also found out there apparenly was a show like this over 20 years ago and its based on a book series.

I like that lot of the cast is from TVD/The Originals so that draws me in.

The acting feels bit off. And Im not sure im jp for more drama.

I used to be a huge fan of the original show as a kid. It's basically Dawson's Creek with aliens, I don't know if I can sit through that as a 35 year old. Katherine Heigl is the only one of the original cast that seemed to have an actual career beyond the show.

The original show was great for a season and a half, then went a bit off the rails. I didn't realise they'd remade it tbh.

It seems in the new one they are older rather than teens. But it feels like teen drama, its weird.

If 2 eps are still making you ask then prob not

Man its weird to see Jacksson from The Originals be super emotional in this.
