Yes, gladly. I love long games. If I'm remembering correctly, my save file for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was at 128 hours when I stopped last night. And I'm still having fun.

I suppose it's worth admitting that outside of writing, I spent well over 100 hours on Elden Ring.

Sure. The longer each game takes to finish, the less money it costs me.

100? I put 1000 hours into PSO2 the year it came stateside.

In my teenage years, I could commit 100 hours in two weeks. Now, it would spread over more than a month.

I've put a couple hundred hours into WoW, Civ, some CRPGs, Total War, etc.

Not so much jrpgs these days.

I have definitely spent more than 100 hours playing Diablo 2 Resurrected. Much like OGD2, I'll play something else for a while only to get the itch to jump back in. Slowly working on getting one of each class to the endgame.

I may have cleared the 100 hour mark for Yakuza Kiwami 2 during the pandemic as well.

If a game was 100 hours at a minimum, I would probably just avoid it and not even start it. But if the main story was 20-40 hours and there were 100s of hours of side content, I might end up spending over 100 hours on the game by the time I was done.

I spent over 100 hours on Cuphead (original + DLC). Have the whole thing S-Ranked, then tried all kinds of challenges like different weapons, seeing secret bosses, all that good stuff. It's such a fun game, I got lost in trying just about everything you can do.

I put nearly 500 hours into Monster Hunter Rise since its release over a year ago. So it's definitely doable depending on the game.

Sure. I don't play games as much as I used to, but I'll easily hit 100+ if BotW2 lives up to the hype.

sure. if it takes me months to beat it, cool. i don't have a huge range of games that i'm trying to play. just a few a year.

I can still commit to really long games. Gaming is pretty much my primary hobby these days and I do it more now than during any other point in my life.

I just played the longest game I've ever played last year. Dragon Warrior 7. It took me 150 hours even with using a guide so I knew where to go and find all the shards.

I'm at 220 with star ocean 4 currently. I've no intention to 100% it but I'm grinding Reimi and Meracle BTs to get 3 CP bonus to equip an additional savage sparrows and x claw. Last time I spent 200hrs on a game was MGSV

I highly recommend it. It just had the whole package for me: really good customization, combat, exploration, and music. If you like rpgs with a non heavy focus on story like Etrian Odyssey or so you'll prob enjoy it more

The exploration/platforming is a big part of the game, although the platforming does not emphasize difficulty at all, so you wont be timing your jumps to moving platforms or anything like that. Its one of those games where if theres a tile, at some point in the game you will for sure be able to get there.

You have a bunch of job classes in the game, and the ability to subclass any of em. The game uses different resources for abilities (AP, MP, Items or Cooldowns) and somehow manages to make it work so theres a lot to consider when choosing a subclass and not just a simple obvious best choice like lots of other games with subclassing.
And then there's the incrediby varied equipment that gives you even more options.

The creator describes it as a metroidvania and thats probably true, but its really cool how the world and progression is designed. If you dont find the platforming appealing before the 2 hours are up, then you probably wont like the game as ive seen in some steam topics.

But yeah the platforming is really only used to add to the exploration so isnt difficult, and the hardest platforming in the game was tied to a minigame that got patched so you can skip it.

It's a struggle to find the time and will power to invest that much in a single player game. I've been playing WoW for almost 18 years, but that one let's me hang out with people and show off my collections and such, so it feels more worthwhile.

Single player games have to be really, really engrossing to catch my attention for longer than 10-20 hours.

Yes. Easily. I have a full time job. But I also get a lot of free time. Also, J bring my switch to work with me So, I can get time there, as well Home systems are a little harder. But still easily doable

I'm pretty sure I spent about 60-80 hours per game going through the Yakuza series this year

Ive got a couple thousand hours in dead by daylight lol.

I have 1250 hours since 2018 in Slay the Spire. That's been in bursts, most of them were in 2019 and 2020. Recently started playing it again though.

yeah, but not grinding away. i easily put 50 hours into Battletech and barely got past the tutorial stages.

yes :( I'm sitting at around 8k hours on Binding of Isaac, about 5.5k hours actually playing the game.

229+ hours on Digimon CS/HM collection just last month.

It is two separate games in one, but that still means I spent over 100+ hours each game.

My first reaction was no way! but I have spent countless hours on a silly card game and silly match three game on my phone over quite a few years now.

Yes. I've been breeding a bunch of Pokemon in Ultra Sun and Wonder Trading them away these past few months. I've been dealing with depression and doing this a lot to really help outside of work. Otherwise, if I'm interested and want to sink some time into a game other than Pokemon, I can just focus on that until I'm wanting to sink more hours into breeding.

No, im working every day of the week. Pretty much i have 4 hours to myself and i usually just slend it relaxing.

I got Witcher 3 with all the expansions on sale back in March, and part of me wants to get into it,

it's worth a play. would only experience it once.

i played through it twice and got burned out from the experience. did do some things faster.

If i go back to assassins creeds itll be an easy 100+.
