I think it's fun, but once you beat the high level content, there isn't much to do except train for the next events. As for gachaness, yeah it's a gacha game >_> They give out a bunch of free pulls once in while (like right now) and the F2P units they do give you are pretty good and can beat most of the standard content if you train them and use them strategically. The P2W units are only necessary for Gauntlets, the Elite 4 stuff, and Extreme Battles Most people pull units for waifus tho, like any other gacha game >_> They have characters from every game and it's fun to see them interact with each other and even continue some of their stories after the events of their respective games. Also it's obvious Ash is defeating Cynthia in the anime she told Diantha she's retiring after this but we all know this is because she's yet to find someone capable of defeating her in battle and previews show her getting hyped as fuck fighting Ash because he's actually making her work for it so after losing to him it will rekindle her desire for battle, the same thing is true for Leon mirroring his story in the games where nobody could beat him so he was getting bored with the whole affair then you come along and slap his shit making him eager to face you again and displaying frustration upon getting defeated for the first time and again in rematches. It's pretty stereotypical, the most surprising thing is Team Rocket will still fuck with Ash after seeing that he's on the level of a champion now, he defeated Steven, Iris, several elite four members, stalemated with Mewtwo, the mewtwo from the first movie at that and now has access to Z moves, Mega Evolution and Dynamax/Gigantomax which people are certain he'll use all three against Leon as well as his aura powers from the movies, why still fuck with the twerp at this point? Because if they don't they have no role in the show. Ash for who wins between Ash and Leon it's legit anyone's gamem, if Ash win's Leon gets to taste defeat for the first time and use that to further fuel his dwindingly battle boner, if Ash loses he'll be content because of the people he defeated to get to that point anyway, Paul, Steven, Iris, Cynthia, Bea, that's a pretty rough road for a rookie and yes despite his years and years of experience in story Ash is STILL considered a rookie pokemon trainer champion --- A worthless existence <cite>tremain07 posted [p:967513425] in Damn, Poke...
