Comedian Steve Hofstetter who is 41 is getting ruffled by people commenting on his page about his new girlfriend who is almost half his age 26. He told people to stop infantilizing women. Ive never heard of that term before lol.

If they only started dating that's fine. 26 is more than a few years past being able to legally drink or rent a uhaul. There's life experience difference but not so much that they couldn't have common ground.

She does look like shes 18 or 19 and his greying in his beard does make photos of them together look funny.

Same. Hes hilarious and I love when he goes after hecklers. I saw him live a couple months ago and was just as hilarious. Dude owned some drunk lady at my table who wanted to argue with him over what the point of tampon dispensers in restrooms was for cause she thought they werent needed.

23-26 is an age where you can reasonably expect someone to make their own decisions. The age disparity is a little off but she's 26.

Yeah if she's 26 and they've only been talking or whatever for a couple years there's really no red flags there.

People here like to get angry with me when I say that some weird social movement has sprung up to specifically try and vilify 30+ year old men who have relationships with any woman under 30 regardless of her age.

People who assume other people's relationships are abusive simply because they don't conform to the traditional form are realistically engaging in similar shallow thought process as those who are bigoted. Like unless there's evidence of any abuse going on, just keep your judgements to yourself. Don't just assume people are shitty because it's not normal for you. He has written a book and goes on nationwide tours quite a bit. He even owns a church he lets new comedians stay at and learn from that he uses often for fundraising. Hes got a lot of life experience.

Anything over 16 is fine. People need to stop being so judgemental about a woman's age.
