But the answer is 28. There's 27 in the triangle made out of triangles and 1 in the A from answer. You should pass all your students as this was a trick question.

They forgot the upside down middle one probably.

Although with the question being how many triangles can YOU see shouldnt any number they give be correct? I mean if they only counted x number even if there are technically more that was how many they could see.

If the question was how many triangles are there it would be 27, but that isnt what was asked.
