Light turned green. Car in front of you doesn't move. When do you honk?

3 seconds

If they're looking down at their phone I'm honking immediately.

Like 5s if I'm comfortable with the area, I dunno. If I'm somewhere new I'll just wait patiently unless I'm in a hurry maybe.

When it turns yellow.

6 seconds maybe

Not a long honk either, just a little bip bip

I have missed lights because idiot person was on their cell phone. 2 seconds tops.

For most cases I'll give them a good 8-10 seconds before I'll honk.

But if it's a short light, like a left turn arrow, then I'm honking after 2-3 seconds. I've missed left turns because someone wasn't paying attention. Those are annoying.

Close to a minute, if I even do it. Up north it would have been like 2 seconds before I did but down here you really dont hear many horns and theyre usually all out of state plates.

Yep, this. I honk if I can see the driver being distracted; otherwise, I wait 3-4 seconds.

depending on the situation, anywhere from 4-10

if i don't think they'll move at all, i won't honk and i'll just drive around them

no horn, if they don't go then I'm just crashing into them it'll be their fault

you'd hate to drive around boomersville where everyone waits 5 seconds before slowly creeping forward at a green light and then somehow you're the jackass for trying to drive at least close to the speed limit

If it's more than 2 seconds at the entrance of my neighborhood I'm honking, because that bitch is only green for like 10 seconds every 4 minutes.

Unless there's a pedestrian that presses the button to cross, then we get 25 seconds.

Anyways I've never honked at anyone, to memory.

My last car, the horn stopped working, which was no difference to me, I never used it anyways

New car, horn works (I've hit it by accident), but again, I don't use it

Depending on where you're at, a honk is liable to:
1) have the person sit there like an asshole
2) have the person get out and harass you
3) have the person pop shots at you

Some people treat driving like an in-person interaction and honking at them is basically calling them a bitch to their face.

If you honk at me immediately, I will purposely not go until the next go around.

As if people arent occasionally looking up at the light if they are checking their phone at a red light.

if they are on their phone even at a red light they need their drivers licence revoked for 6 months minimum and a $2000 fine
