It felt to me like they abandoned a lot of the science fiction stuff in favor of a lot of horror tropes that just arent as interesting imo the upside down went from this dark desolate alien place to literally having it really felt to me like one of the later seasons of game of thrones --- She/her ... I've been disappointed since season 2. I really thought this show was going to take the approach of having a new paranormal threat each season. I mean, the show is called Stranger Things after all. I half agree, I really wanted them to do more stuff with the Upside down in general, it feels like it barely exists and only has a minimal presence, it might aswell not exist. I thought it was cool as like a Silent Hill-esque alternate world, but it's just boring and kind of unexplained in any way that I remember. Why are the buildings and such the exact same? ...
