But agreed Mio is definitely the best. I just beat what im assuming is the big midway chapter 4 fight everyone has been talking about, my current rankings are... Mio > Taion > Sena > Eunie > Noah > Lanz I was prepared to be a Eunie fan coming in since she's got the Melia wings and she's the hot one, but the other 3 have impressed me too much. It's a shame how universally weaker the American voice actors in XB2 and XB3 are than the UK ones. Like, Sena's better than Pyra/Mythra, sure, but she's still the weakest in the party. Just not takes I can agree with! I forgot Dunban existed and that's on me, I just posted a meme with him like 4 days ago. And I liked Dunban! My opinion of the XB1 voice acting was HEAVILY dulled by having just come off of so much FFXIV which has *astonishingly* better UK voice acting than any of these games after the recasts. The UK voice work in XB2 is about on lar with XB1, but the US voice acting frags it down. The UK voice acting in XB3 is a LOT better than 1, hell Eunie alone runs circles around every XB1 character, but still not great for the US stuff. My guess given the lore was that there was actually a risk of explosion in the area that damaged the environment, but...Switch hardware and all that. This game does look pretty spectacular all things considered, though. It's hard to beat how much XB1 popped as a result of even tighter limitations forcing some aesthetics. When the games just look better in general it's harder to make some stuff stand out. Pretty dumb that you get locked at 4 stars for Affinities with colonies until completing certain quests, even if you max out the bars. Why even have the gradual system if there's a required final quest anyways? I have Nopon caravan at full bar but until I fill all their collectooedia cards it can't turn over.
