Ive seen people call it a masterpiece and Im just very confused after seeing it. People will think Im trolling but I will say that at least the Predator film that was before this was actually fun and entertaining. Me neither but the reactions here to criticism of it have been kinda ridiculous. Seemed confused about what they wanted the main character to be. She's portrayed as highly competent in her skills and yet they have her fail over and over and over again until it felt tedious, like they were overcompensating for or afraid of making her a Mary Sue-type of character. --- Does the name Pavlov ring a bell? ... I definitely think calling it a "masterpiece" is just hyperbole that the internet tends to do a lot. With that said a lot of the praise is the fact that the Predator films have been notorious from being average like Predator 2 and AVP to garbage like The Predator and AVP2. The only good one that everyone is unanimous on is the first Predator movie, which this movie has a lot of the same vibes in. It's a slow build up to the eventual Predator showing up and ripping shit up. I personally like films that take their time vs. it being a typical action flick. The first movie's praise was that it was a Slasher flick and this one was just that. BuzzKilljoy posted... Me neither but the reactions here to criticism of it have been kinda ridiculous. She's both. She's not the most physically strong person for obvious reasons, but she's very observant and because of that she was able to use the Predators weapons against it. --- DI MOLTO! ...
