i have nothing against vegans and have considered it myself but are we really finna act like there aren't self righteous annoying vegans?

sure. but to me that would mean you understand the annoyance, which is what i'm talking about. understanding it. people can be and are frequently annoying when they talk about stuff.

I guess I just don't get the point of singling out vegans for being obnoxious about their diet choice when almost everyone acts the same exact way, but about different things. Sure vegans are annoying when they talk about vegan stuff, but enter a discussion about steak, pizza, fast food, mashed potatoes, chicken, etc etc and those kinds of people having those discussions are just as uppity and annoying.

I have. People are always respectful of my choice to eat well done steaks.

Food insecurity has nothing to do with dietary choice and there is enough food to feed everyone. Even if everyone was vegan there would still be logistical and financial barriers to feeding everyone even though it is quite doable. Someone could easily counter that there is more than enough food to feed everyone and it's just not distributed properly, and a change in diet wouldn't fix such an issue.

By well done I'm hoping you are saying properly prepared and not well done like temp wise. Because a well done steak is blasphemy..lol. The medium rare is the most I'll ever have on a steak.

Did you know POC are more than twice as likely to be vegan or strictly vegetarian? You don't hear about it because you don't make little memes ostracizing a group that makes a different choice than you.

Tbh, when you stand back and think about what it truly means to eat meat, it makes it easier to understand why a vegan might be a little uppity about it.

I wonder if people get annoyed at vocal non vegans. There's something.... weird/funny about those who make meat eating and preparation a large part of their identity

Hot take; If we get to the point animals aren't grown and raised to be exploited until they die they're going to end up treated better than the average American, who is born to be exploited by the 1%
