That also meant trash would respawn if you took too long and oh boy, did we take too long. I think we finally finished it, but it took at least two hours and that's a conservative estimate. To this day, I don't think I've been as emotionally drained by any other activity. Everybody was talking about it. It got deleted within two weeks. I took that as my opportunity to make a name for myself and recreated the account, and made a bunch more outlandish rumors about students and teachers, some were incredibly inflammatory. None of them were nice. it also got deleted a couple weeks later, but everybody at school was unknowingly talking about something I had done. But I could tell nobody, for fear of being caught. fast forward a year and a half, this is long forgotten, I get called into the principals office on a random school day. My parents are there. Im like what the fuck is going on. They ask me if anybody would have ever had access to my computer. Im like.. no? And theyre like, do you know anything about a rumor website from a year and a half ago? And Im like oh fuck. they told me they took out a search warrant and a criminal warrant with MySpace, got my IP, and discovered it was me. A year and a half later. My parents are reading a printout of the terrible things I had written. Many of them about the principal that is sitting in front of me. My parents are looking at me like what the fuck is wrong with you. the principal tells me that Im lucky that it took a year and a half, because if I had been caught when it happened she was going to come at me with the fullest extent of the law. But she had time to cool off, and the matter was basically settled. I got off with nothing but a dont fuck up again. Rather than just having servers separated by PvE and PvP, you can turn on "war mode" to swap into a world with PvP enabled. Asked me if he could look at what I have and he'll choose. I had a purple,green, red, white, blue party hats, a few hween masks, black Santa, and Xmas scythe. At the time they were worth around 30b but nowadays itd be more than 200b worth i think.. So I got them all out of my bank and right after I showed him in the trade screen I got kicked out the game and couldn't log back in. I prob fucked up somewhere and picked up something. I still don't know how it happened. I got access to my account again 3 days later and ofc all my rares were gone lol.. i threw away the laptop I was using at the time since it was prob compromised. --- I'm a Taurus I like collecting headphones and iems. I thought up this grand, detailed drawing and worked on it for a month (I didn't have a job at the time, so I was genuinely putting 4-6 hours a day into this drawing for that amount of time). I finally made my account and posted it, hoping I would get flooded with adulation. The only reply I got for a couple weeks was some jerk repeatedly trolling me over nitpicks. It stung quite a bit, but it was a good lesson learned. I think we started with some Bleach/Naruto mod of DOTA. I jumped in and played with him trying to coach me. Of course I sucked, and basically the whole room (plus my friend) start shitting on me publicly. Anyway that went on for a few sessions. I really didnt like the gameplay and of course it was being made worse by the ribbing in chat I was getting. My friend was trying to help but was getting legit angry and annoyed at mistakes I made despite it being like my first DOTA game session. Eventually I just didnt take it anymore and quit, I was so annoyed at how he treated me during that whole thing that I refused to speak to him for like a week or so. I happened to feel the same way and sympathized since I have an immune compromised family member as well and I explained how I was trying to protect them and that we will make it through this.
