i guess this game kill it with fire would be the one I'm scared to play. As I have a big thing against spiders. And I don't know if I can play a game where there's gonna be a lot of spiders hiding around ,and running after you and jumping at you lol.

You guys have any game like this?

I had to drink beer to get through Amnesia TDD for the first time. That game is pretty rough.

Can't play anything with spiders either

It doesn't completely stop me from playing, but I can't go underwater in GTAV at all.

Firewall: Zero Hour is kind of PTSD inducing

I can't play any of those "run and hide" games. Like Alien Isolation or that one in the mental institution. If you cant fight back but game mechanics have you hiding

Those games really stress me out

Couldn't make it past the chase after dinner in that one Resident Evil with the grandma unconscious at the dinner table.

silent hill for the ps1, i cleared other silent hill games but kinda got a trauma from that one

Neh. I actually dived deepinto the horror genre and got too desensitized to enjoy most of it now :/

Certain spiders have made things very difficult, but it depends on their design and how theyre encountered. Tseldora in Dark Souls II is one that I cant deal with, but in Dragon Age theyre manageable.

Bloodborne is two-sided because the design doesnt bother me so much but they have them hanging ready to drop on your head when you get close. So whenever Im doing the chalice dungeons Im always looking up.

As I kid I already enjoyed the Resident Evil games, even if I was easily scared by everything. But jfc, those spiders were just too much. As if they weren't horrifying enough on their own, for some reason they have to release a whole batch of tiny spiders when they die.

I remember when playing the first RE game, I had learned the areas where the all the spiders were, and managed to completely avoid them, which is actually possible except for the boss spider in the cave. I remember the first time I defeated it:
I had read a walkthrough beforehand, so I knew it was going to be there. I used a hex editor to give myself a rocket launcher, entered the room, fired it at the spider while looking away as much as possible, then immediately turning around and exiting the room because of the little spideres, and finally re-entering.

Gods, I was pathetic

Any games like The Evil Within...I can't stand being chased like that.

Alien Isolation. There's always tension due to to the alien stalking you through the levels, it's not scripted either so there's no set pattern for the alien to follow.

Oh man, I remember during my first Subnautica playthrough when I was first exploring the Crash Site (where the water is somewhat murkier), and got to a place where the seafloor descended so deeply that I couldn't see it anymore. Meanwhile my pad told me that life readings in this area are sparse. I hadn't even encountered a Reaper Leviathan yet at that point, but I just experienced such nerve-wracking dread that I just had to stop playing then and there.

That's when I learned thalassophobia is a thing.

Any horror game lol.

Only ones I've played to completion was silent Hill 1, 2 , and 3. Had to play them during day time with lights on. Also I used cheats so I could kill the monsters faster. They freak me out too much

I'll add Subnautica to the list of games I have too much fear to play. Some how I got a huge fear of the ocean in videogames. No clue really what turned me into being so overly afraid of being in the ocean in games. Any game with a ocean that you need to swim in I am completely on edge the whole time. And since Subnautica pretty much deals with being in The ocean for most of the game and having really crazy sea creatures, I won't think I can handle that

I couldn't play Mirror's Edge for more than a half hour because I'm afraid of heights

horror games. there are some i've played, but for the most part i'm a fuckin scaredy cat. i have to play them with my brother, hand over the controller when you die style.
