Pretty sure this person is closer to sociology and anthropology departments than psychology.

Sample size is a funny topic. For something like "here are my subjective experiences" i don't see any issue with an N of 1 tbh. I just don't really value that evidence.

But regardless, small N designs are possible, easy enough to argue that as low as 3 can be reasonable.

They removed the article. Usually journals keep the article available but just stamp big red semi-transparent "RETRACTED" across it. So that's a bit weird. Not super surprising, I suppose.
