Started it yesterday. Haven't gotten into a turn based RPG in quite a few years. It feels like such a feel good game. Not story wise obviously but gameplay wise, character design, etc. Very comfy. The only other game I've ever played in the series is DQ Heroes: Rocket Slime lmao

Weird thing tho I started yesterday and the game says I have 25 hours played. I don't think that's right lol I just got to Hotto.

I played DQ11S just a month ago. I had never played a DQ game and was surprised how much I enjoyed it

I'm going in completely blind so i dont really know what to expect. The intro left a lot to be desired imo and I almost felt like dropping it but right after the intro credits hit the game really just grows on you instantly. The music is also amazing, probably the reason why I stuck with it through the intro lol I also really like the forging even if I don't really understand wtf I'm doing.

Is the horse generally considered bad? I dunno why they don't allow you to sneak attack enemies while on the horse >.>

Yeah it doesnt break any new ground but its just warm and cozy. Its definitely the video game equivalent of comfort food

You can run enemies over with the horse. That's always fun to do.

I've only played the base game, but it's easily in my top 10 PS4 games.
