That being said, it actually isn't the grand battles that kept me coming back to this show. It was actually the slower and more philosophical moments that kept drawing me in. My single favorite scene in the entire series is when Yang and Reinhard ~~finally meet face to face for the first time, and they spend a good 8 and a half minutes on discussing their differing ideologies on how society should be governed~~.
