Once was early on when I worked at Target and they were locked in the asset protection office.

There were also some at GameStop one of the last times I went. Ones that the assistant manager hadn't yet hid in back.

The reason most people are voting "no" is because they don't put them on the shelves. You gotta order them online or ask and get lucky, because they're putting them under lock and key.

No, but I saw one on a cart and bought it. I dont think a single one made it to the shelf that day and Ive seen 0 since I bought mine

In a mall. It was a strange mom & pop general store that sold a bunch of random crap. And near the entrance were a bunch of boxes of PS5s. The PS5s were so out of place in that store as it did not sell anything else gaming related or even any other electronics. They had a couple employees milling around the entrance to the store which is pretty common for malls. I asked one of the employees if they were selling PS5s. After they said yes, I asked how much, and they told some ridiculously high price. They were literally resellers like you see all over the internet, but in person. It was the most bizarre thing ever. Since I think resellers are the scourge of the earth (specifically those who buy up low inventory items just to resell at a higher price), I wanted to lash out at them right there, but I composed myself and left without incident.

Maybe... I've seen them in the windows of those weird shops that mostly sell phone cases and vape fluid, but have a window full of totally genuine and not at all stolen high-end tech.

I wanted say it was $980 or something like that, just under 1,000. This happened a while ago but It's true, I don't remember the price exactly so I didn't want to say it in the story.

I stand by my statement though that resellers are human pieces of trash and can go fall in a hole all I care.
