Honestly speaking, sometimes I am not sure what kind of company the place I work for is. It sometimes calls itself a car company but sometimes calls itself somethign else.

regardless, I love my job and the people i work with in my department.

I work as an accounting assistant for a small but growing non medical hospice. It's a very nice quiet job with a good amount of autonomy.

Technical Recruiter. I do love the work but not liking the company Im at. But not bad enough to actively leave since they pay well and offer amazing benefits. I do hope to get to a place where I can open my own recruiting company some day.

Senior AI programmer in game development

Very happy and satisfied with my work -- it is often intense/challenging, but ultimately very rewarding, both intellectually and creatively

Project Estimator in construction. Specifically Division 9. (Carpet, ceramic, vinyl, rubber, etc. for floors and walls of construction projects.) Commercial, not residential.

Of all the jobs I've had I enjoy this one the most. I'll never love my job but I certainly don't hate it or dread getting out of bed in the morning.

It's a lot of reading blueprints and tracing lines on computer software.

Environmental Engineer for a renewable power company. The term "engineer" is very loose as I don't have an engineering degree and I'm not doing engineering work like autoCAD or anything.

It's been a challenging position because some of the things I push for on projects are costly and not usually required for the project to be built, and so I have to justify myself a lot. I'm not good with conflict but it's a good way to learn and get experience with it.

Environmental Consultant.

Great gig.

I was an env consultant for ~5 years in the beginning of my career. I'd probably still be doing it if the pay was comparable to my current position. There was always a decent amount of variation in the work and I could make up my own solutions to problems. I learned a bit of coding and instantly became super valuable to PMs because almost no one in the company knew how to do it and it was like magic to them. I did hate the sales/business side of it though and it seemed like it was inevitable I'd have to do more and more of it if I wanted to progress.

If your company ever goes broke, hopefully they can bounce back. :)

As for myself, I'm a nurse.

I use UpToDate software that makes everything quite simple to follow.

I think Ill survive

I did work in a hospital before this tho. Covid was too much. You're a nurse. When covid hit, did they bring out a refrigerated trailer to store dead bodys in because the morgue was overfull? That's what happen to mine about 5 times. I got out of there :(
