But I've had many dreams where I have a Japanese or European sedan or hatchback from the 1980s, or an iguana as a pet. The former probably are a mix of imprinted memories manifesting into dreams due to my parents and grandparents having those types of cars when I was a child, and my honest opinion that they're severely overlooked and underappreciated classic cars today. The latter is because I had to take care of my brother's iggy for a year. She told me that everyone comes to an age where they wish they had been born a decade or two later, so they could enjoy the benefits instead of the hardships of the things they fought for. Now, at 37, I realize that if I had been born 20 years later I could have transitioned to male in a far more accepting world. Back in my teenager years, the entire concept of being transgender was basically foreign to me. I always felt like I was the wrong gender, but I didn't know it could be changed. Luckily I've come to be at peace with my biology, even though my mind would have been better off as male.
