We had a guy who wrote a report and I heard it had many misspellings but the one I remember was acknowledge being spelled egknowledge I mean I misspell words from time to time but that one is straight up horrible. Guy failed the test originally too. That's the hardest part is basic training and having to pass a test. I'd bring up having to qualify with guns but I've seen people who should be no where near a gun get pulled aside privately after failing a few times. And suddenly they magically pass that time. I noticed they never get assignments that require a gun though. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" Bartz-"with cheese biscuts AND mashed potatoes!" ... Copied to Clipboard!

From somebody who has been there for 14 years, Costco. People from all walks of life and put into sevetal different roles. Great benefits, and pretty decent pay (i'm topped out at 30 bucks an hour) You have to try hard to screw it up. An example is a friend of my brother in law; he showed up to his interview in track pants and a baggy tshirt. My brother in law asked him why, he responded with 'What? It's Costco, who cares?' He didnt get hired and he's been out of work for like ten years. Take it seriously if you want them to take you seriously. --- 'We're not gonna make it, are we? People i mean.' Most COs are failed/dishonorably dishcarged meatheads with some undue score to settle, so they end up taking it out on sometimes innocent individuals. At least, innocent if being treated worse. The Justice system is supposed to be about rehabilitation. Not beating people's asses into submission and then releasing them back into the world even angrier and more jaded. Yup @Reggiebushalt22 dont take this dudes advice. Toadsworth posted... Ain't nobody set out in life to be a CO. One of the lamest jobs of all. If you be guarding Saddam or Ted Kaczkynki, that's one thing. Not where I work. You are lucky to get a officer that actually does their job. Unfortunately rehabilitation is not part of our job description. People you just hire off the streets and gonna have those kinda skills anyways. That's something more their case managers should be doing as making sure they got a plan set up for they leave is a big part of their job. As someone who does My job (mostly. Several rules I even don't care about) my day consists mostly of walking and talking and if they don't wanna listen paperwork. I always start with talking. Been telling a dude for weeks he can't hang his clothes in a spot. At first he'd take it down right away then it became give me like 5 minutes next thing inknow he just wasn't taking it down so I went the paperwork route. I came in last night and I didn't even have to talk to him. It was down I've worked for 3 years and only paper sprayed 2 people (they where fighting and didnt quit when i yelled to quit) and got hands on with one and in that case a few of us just wrestled him to the ground he was on k2 which gives insane strength to a person. Don't talk smack about my job if you have no clue what it's like inside those walls. The truly innocent ones generally don't cause problems. They might smoke. Hell I would and on that notion if I catch them I generally flush it qnd carry on no write up. The real criminals though some are dumb as fuck some are clever as hell and some give no fucks about you. For example had somebody set up a very hazardous situation where one of us coulda slipped and busted our head. Either hoping that would happen or just trying to deter us from doing rounds. I will concede jobs like that do attract those that just crave authority over other humans. Those are the ones that eventually end up having to be picked up off the floor by other officers cause they will eventually fuck with the one that doesn't give a fuck or justbcaught them on a bad day. Lastly topic was about easiest job to get so all your post was unnecessary. I will change my statement to its not the easiest maybe but it's probably the hardest to get fired from.
