For what it is worth, despite me having all CEgals and especially all trans ones tagged, they accuses me of misgendering them a few times in a previous topic. I honestly can't say I have any recollection of having seen them prior to around the time that Bette Midler said TERF bullshit. And that was actually when they accused me of misgendering them. What's more, I tagged them after that topic as claiming to know me.

when i was homeless, i had a goatee from not being able to shave. it sucked, but i still had guys try to hit on me. it was weird. your identity is valid even if you don't have access to all the medical procedures for transition. i need electrolysis or laser hair removal too.

Wooo....what a day. I had a great therapy session, then I spent a good 4+ hours with my girl, mostly with my therapist cap on. She's going through a lot and she definitely prefers telling me shit face-to-face as opposed to over text. She was being a little weird about me coming over, so I knew something was off...And no, I'm not going to say anything more than that, out of respect for her privacy.
But I think we may have grown closer this day, even as arduous as it was at times. She walked me out to my car and gave me a hug, which was really sweet.

I have a Trans Pride flag, but it's behind my computer screen i.e. in front of me. It's against the wall my room shares with the hallway in part to help muffle any sound I make.

Back when I lived in Albany, there was a Stewarts a few blocks from my apartment that I would walk to semi-regularly. I still crave that Mint Cookie Crumble ice cream.

Nothing good is in a good walking distance around here.
And even so, its a lot less safe for me to do something like that these days. I recently purchased pepper spray.

Yeah. I had the thought in my head but I knew Id be filled in if that was the case. Sucks that the world is anxiety inducing like that. There's times I get anxious while out at night too, even though I know it's not as dangerous for me. Now I have a medium sized dog with me on longer walks too, which helps with anxiety. Even though he would immediately be useless as soon as something happened cause I made him a kid friendly coward dog lol. I love that about him :p

An arts PhD would be super expensive to obtain, I'm sure. Unfortunately, with the world as it is, cost vs. future economic potential is always a factor even though it shouldn't be.

Honestly I would only do it with funding, I'd just go to whatever school that pays for it probably.

assuming you mean computer science, nah, not that hard, just get familiar with different programming languages and techniques and youll be fine

Communism is a theoretical means of organizing human society, an attempt to envision an equitable post-capitalist economic system.
No state that has attempted to implement such a system has ever come close to achieving the goals of any communist philosophy. That doesn't mean we should stop trying: capitalism's insatiable profit motive is quite literally rendering the planet less habitable by the day, and increasingly more of the profit remains concentrated at the top of the economic pyramid. It's clearly unsustainable.
