I am up and moving, but God, my throat is so ..... bad. It feels like a swallowed flaming knives. Like, it feels inflamed down there and feels ripped. It's awful. Nothing else bad, just this.

Hope you get over it as fast as I did. I only lost taste for 2 weeks. I still cough up flem tho. And my eyes bleed while I speak in tongues sometimes. But those are subsiding and becoming lesser over time.

Same, finally caught it last Friday. I was pretty much just extra tired, real mucus-y, and now I sometimes get a tingly sensation in the back of my throat until I cough a bunch (nothing comes up but eventually it makes the tingle go away).

Pretty sure that's the same day I caught it. Yeah, I get that sensation too and with my throat on fire, it hurts to cough that hard to clear that itch temporarily.

I got it last week. It wasn't as bad as a cold for me (at least the cold-like symptoms weren't as bad as a cold). I was laying on the couch for several hours on Tuesday, and Wednesday I had to sit down most of the day, and I was mostly fine after that.

Still hacking things up occasionally though

that happened to me on covid after day 5. couldn't smell things properly or taste properly only thing i could taste is sour kool-aid. cherry dr pepper= cough syrup. all kinds of messed up shit.

overall: sore throat day 1. cough/sneezing/runny or stuffy nose for 5 days.

i caught covid from my roommate without knowing it (Dodged it the 1st time).

I got it before vaccines came out, I dunno if its the worst sickness I had but its up there with the whole hard to breathe component. Was waiting to pick that phone up if my breath got any shallower.

One of my online boys that got it was out in the worst waycouldnt go up a flight of stairs without fighting for breath, ended up in the hospital.

And to yall that have it pretty minor dont let your guard down on it even now, cause its still killing people out here.

BA.5 is still speading. it can reinfect no problem. not wanting to test how i'll do with a 2nd covid infection.
