Games love to be cinematic and shit. But when it comes to making you feel immersed into a boss fight, Metal Gear hasnt been topped. Psycho Mantis, Solidus Snake, The End, The Boss, and Liquid Ocelot are the greatest boss fights in gaming. The way your gameplay is integrated into the fight is unmatched. Like, the final battle in MGS4 would just be a cutscene in an average game. Put the same circumstances in Naughty Dogs hands and itll just be Snake fighting goons just to have Ocelot lose in a cutscene. It sucks well never have such innovative boss fights again. --- A show of kindness may not do much help, but a show of cruelty may do much harm. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Blame that one on Konami, or Kojima, I really don't know whose to blame for 5 being as bad as it was. It had the baseline for a great game, but so much repetition. Boss fights were great, but again... a lot of fighting the same bosses over and over again. I would point out there are other franchises that do incredible bosses. WoW as bad as its become has incredible boss battles. Same with Final Fantasy 14, though I cannot afford to play it at the moment. ... Copied to Clipboard!
