_Kaz 07/24/22 5:37:50 PM #7:	Secret Invasion is going to be like "Hydra" .... but more paranoia inducing. Thunderbolts is a headscratcher for me -- it was Marvel's take on villains-secretly-as-heroes in a weird "becoming the mask" manner, then it became a version of "Suicide Squad" where the cast was a bunch of loose minor/one-shot characters made to be "tied up" (killed)... and I think the modern version is a combination of both -- a government "action with extreme prejudice" team of ex-villains. I'm kind of surprised they're still rolling with this arc and not circling back and rebooting characters since the actors portraying them have cycled out. (Not in a "legacy" or "proxy" kind of way via "Young Avengers", but like an "X-Men: First Class" complete-reboot kind of way.) --- Fighter: "Mr Pibb", "Dr Pepper".. I'm onto you.. I've found phase 4 a little hit or miss (nothing too bad but a couple disappointments that I felt could've been better like Thor and Strange) but I like how expansive this universe is and realistically even if I don't love a movie or show I'll probably still enjoy it. Chadwick Boseman was allegedly deeply involved in the production and direction of the original Black Panther, it was very much a passion project for him. To me that makes it very different than say, the Carrie Fisher situation. I'd be interested in knowing whether he left any specific instructions or wishes regarding the franchise. I don't think he'd have wanted it to die with him, or for it to become synonymous with him, but that's just me projecting.
