watching somebody play it reminds me of how thoroughly lame and unexciting the intro scene is compared to Galaxy's.

that said, the places, music, fights, creatures, and gameplay are absolutely top notch. I can't decide which game I prefer, but if Galaxy 2 had more exciting atmosphere during the story beats, I'd easily prefer it.

What I love is that years before it came out, there were articles about miyamoto saying he had all these scrapped ideas that they couldn't include in 1, including having yoshi. And then smg 2 came out, and it had yoshi! That made me so happy, these 2 games really are amazing

I just consider them one long game, like kill bill
