Rian Johnson should've put an alternate ending(s) gimmick in his Knives Out movie just like Clue. That would've ruled imo.

Paul Rudd hasn't agreed since the 90s so Clueless is weird to watch now bc all I see is 50 year old Paul Rudd trying to get with teenager Alicia Silverstone.

A script has been written and Ryan Reynolds is attached to it, but it's been in development hell for a while.

The thing is though it doesn't need to be like or top the original. They can go the comedy route again, but they can also go dark and gritty film noir. There're so many approaches they can do for a remake and be great while the original still remains its greatness to.

BTW, my favorite part is when Wadsworth takes Mrs. White's hand, runs up the stairs, she trips and falls, and he just leaves her there.

I just watched it last week. It was easy to see why I watched it so many times as a kid. It remains my favorite example of deadpan comedy.

I remember watching the movie at a hotel in Vegas with some friends waiting for EDC to start

And we were hooked on the movie and wouldn't leave until we saw the endings

The singing telegram girl was one of the most wtf and hilarious parts

Great movie and excellent taste TC.

I think that scene was a straight up ad lib by Madeline Kahn. This cast was amazingly attractive.
